The PATH initiative is an opportunity for a national movement to create scalable AI career pathways with community colleges at its heart. Speakers will frame the national workforce moment, describe the PATH model, including its curriculum, skills taxonomy, and industry partnerships, and outline the goals of the summit as a collaborative design effort.

Inside PATH: Designing Modular AI Career Pathways
A closer look at the structure and design of the PATH curriculum. Faculty and curriculum designers will walk participants through the architecture of the program, including the stackable credential model, the integration of human-centered AI skills, and the role of action learning and work learn experiences. Presenters will share insights from early implementation efforts at GSU and QCC.

Panelists will share how AI is being adopted within their organizations, the emerging roles they are hiring for, and the skills they see as most critical for early-career talent. The conversation will also explore how education programs can better align with industry needs and how initiatives like PATH can help build a stronger and more inclusive AI talent pipeline. The panel will feature student voices.

Panelists will share their perspectives on challenges and opportunities with incorporating AI-related skills and curriculums into their training, including faculty readiness, institutional resources, and the needs of diverse student populations. Panelists will also reflect on what successful implementation requires and how collaboration on a national scale can create benefits locally.

Strategies for integrating internships, apprenticeships, and project-based experiences into AI pathways. Day Two Kickoff: From Vision to Implementation
Brief recap of key insights from Day 1 and an introduction to the day’s focus on demonstrating and exploring the PATH curriculum in practice. Participants will hear how the masterclasses are designed to illustrate the teaching approaches, learning experiences, and industry relevance embedded in the program.

Participants will attend live demonstrations of selected PATH curriculum modules: a tangible look at how the curriculum is taught, highlighting classroom activities, action learning experiences, and connections to real-world job role and AI applications.

In this closing working session, participants reflect on the curriculum demonstrations and discuss how PATH could take shape at their own institutions. The conversation will gather feedback on curriculum design, implementation models, and partnerships, and outline next steps for pilots and continued collaboration across the PATH network.
